So I'm back in Texas, except this time, I'm here to stay. Met my fiancee in Dallas while working for a women's boutique "Intermix" as a merchandiser back in 2005. I fell in love with the people and southern hospitality, not to mention the amazing food. Dallas folks kept telling me "Andre, you haven't seen Texas till ya go to Austin". I mean, this place has it all: Strongest economy since early 90's, amazing cost of living, people who care about their city, great job market, and its bike friendly. Since my arrival a month ago I have been welcomed by some of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. This city is booming with people who work hard and play harder. I am looking very forward to getting to know the area and the folks here.
Looking for work in a new city is just like being the new kid on the block, so i'm not looking for a job, i'm looking for a career!. but that's the smallest of the hurdles ahead. I'm far from shy and couldn't hurt a fly, so if you see a bald headed guy with shades on and an OG Michael Jackson nose,... Holler @ me ;-)
Love ya ATX, Keep it social...
